Sofia loved the look of ballet flats. She hated how they felt.
Every pair looked great in the box. Then came the rubbing. The burning by 2pm. The little blisters on the back of her heel. She kept a stash of bandaids in every bag.
So she gave up. She wore clunky shoes because at least they didn't hurt. She told herself comfort and style just don't go together.
Then a friend handed her a pair of these. She almost didn't try them. She'd been burned by "comfortable" flats before. But these felt different the second she slid them on. And what happened over the next two weeks changed how she thinks about shoes completely.
